Are you ready to eat cake Chattanooga Brides? Cake Consultations

I know one of the most highly anticipated moments of planning your perfect wedding is getting to do a cake tasting, right?

Ok well before you get your tongue all watery for some ooey gooey goodness there are some things you should know.

Going to visit with your local baker is not always, like what you see on TV or, in the movies. Having unlimited cake samples laid out before you is not exactly the norm. So you think I am kidding here. Well I am not. Most bakers you set an appointment with in our local Chattanooga area are not going to automatically have samples for you to try at your initial consultation.

If you have never actually had the opportunity to sample the bakers baked good then when you call to set up your appointment, you will want to ask if they offer tasting. A cake tasting allows you to try samples of the different cake options that they offer. Now, many times a fee is accompanied by scheduling a tasting. This is not unusual. The baker has to pay for the cost of goods to create several miniature versions for you to sample. Also, prepare yourself that you will have many choices to make at your consultation. You will select the cake flavor, filling, and even the type of icing you prefer! You never knew so much went into this one special cake huh! Well this isn’t just any cake it’s your wedding cake!

Now that you are already to eat cake, get with it and make those phone calls to schedule your cake tasting.
